The topic of energy efficiency in buildings has a critical part to play in reducing CO2 emissions, but on the whole receives less publicity than areas such as transport. Yet while new green technology such as zero emission vehicles is both exciting and valuable, the advances in areas such as heating and insulation of commercial and domestic buildings should not be ignored.
